Hey friends, how have you been doing during this ongoing pandemic? I understand that many recourse to panic, worry, stress, uncertainty, fear, substance use/abuse. Our world is experiencing a real pandemic, however fear, panic, stress, uncertainty, worry or the likes cannot be our only option for survival for navigating this very real global crisis. I am writing to encourage you to explore another option for survival if you have not yet. I encourage you to Look Up to God through Jesus Christ. There is real hope that can be tangibly experienced in the midst of all the current chaos and uncertainty.
Since this pandemic started, I have Looked UP to God through Jesus Christ (via prayer, Bible reading, and trusting Him with my life and future); as a result all worries and internal troubles have been calmed and peace/sanity/purpose/meaning/joy have become my companions ever since. The following words of the Lord Jesus Christ spoken in the Gospel of John 16:33 have been a constant source of strength: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
I am confident that survival during this pandemic season can be peacefully achieved when we Look Up to Christ Jesus in prayer because we are promised in Psalm 34:22b that “No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned”.

Our first human instinct is often to look down and around for solutions to the real problems or challenges we face; but may we be encouraged to re-program our thinking so we look UP to Jesus instead of down/around because true/lasting satisfaction and solution will always come from above (Jesus Christ). Great thoughts. All who visits this site must know that we have more serious pandemic the world never recover from since Adam and Eve: SIN, refuse God way and choose to live according to our desire and will. God create us to have communion with Him and take care to His creation. Unfortunately we choose to worship the creation instead of the creator. This is the reason of all our troubles. Be reconciled with God and you find the real peace and joy. May God bless you.

Thank you very much for this wonderful comments. You are absolutely correct when you say that sin is the greatest pandemic
that has ever plagued humanity; however it was already dealt with when, through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ took on Himself humanity’s penalty of sin. This is why it is important for all of humanity to Look Up To Jesus Christ, because He alone has the cure for the Sin Pandemic as well as the current virus (COVID19) pandemic.
